BPOM Cabut Izin Edar 73 Obat Sirup

TANGERANG -- BPOM RI resmi mencabut sertifikat Cara Produksi Obat yang Baik (CPOB) untuk sedian cair dari tiga perusahaan farmasi. Konsekuensinya, Nomor Izin Edar Produk obat sirup dari tiga perusahaan farmasi itupun dicabut. Demikian disampaikan Kepala BPOM Kantor Cabang Kabupaten Tangerang Sony Mughofir, kepada wartawan, Kamis (17/11). "Pencabutan CPOB merupakan sanksi administratif. Adapun sertifikat CPOB yang dicabut untuk sediaan cairan oral nonbetalaktam dan izin edar untuk produk-produk sirup obat yang diproduksi tiga industri farmasi milik PT Yarindo Farmatama, PT Universal Pharmaceutical Industries dan PT Afi Farma. Sedangkan sertifikat CPOB untuk sediaan selain cairan oral non betalaktam, tidak dicabut," jelasnya. Sebab, pabrik pun memproduksi yang sediaan tablet dan sediaan kapsul. Jadi, CPOB yang tablet dan kapsul tidak dicabut. Sementara ini, dilanjutkannya, baru tiga industri farmasi tersebut yang sertifikat CPOB-nya dicabut. Sedangkan, PT Ciuboras Farma dan PT Samco Farma masih dilakukan investigasi dan intensifikasi pengawasan melalui inspeksi, perluasan sampling, pengujian sampel produk sirup obat dan bahan tambahan yang digunakan, serta pemeriksaan lebih lanjut terhadap sarana produksi. "Setelah ada kesimpulan yang komprehensif, nanti baru diputuskan apakah akan dikenakan sanksi administratif berupa pencabutan CPOB dan Nomor Izin Edar, atau tidak," jelasnya. Bahkan, tambahnya, saat ini, pun BPOM masih berproses terus intensifikasi inspeksi dan sampling ke perusahaan-perusahaan farmasi yang lainnya.
